DRA 211 - Theatre History IClass: 3 Lab: 0 Clinical: 0 Credit: 3 Prerequisites: Take One Set: Set 1: ENG-090 and RED-090 Set 2: ENG-095 Set 3: DRE 098 Set 4: DRE 099 This course covers the development of theatre from its origin to the closing of the British theatre in 1642. Topics include the history, aesthetics, and representative dramatic literature of the period. Upon completion, students should be able to trace the evolution of theatre and recognize the styles and types of world drama. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA & ICAA as a general education course in Humanities/Fine Arts.
